Blossoms fluffing tree limbs, swirling around drains,

mashed to a slippery brown goo under people and dog feet in an east Van Park,

  
gracing neglected styrofoam litter,

 dusting windshields, floating into hair, and onto the shoulders of jackets thrown open to the sun.
